At Mole Street, Chris DiPietro leads engagements with prospective clients, decoding their unique goals and challenges, while also spearheading strategic partnerships, notably with industry leaders like HubSpot. As a seasoned architect of growth, he focuses on empowering small to mid-sized businesses, unraveling the complexities of fragmented tech stacks, and fostering unity within teams. In this exclusive Q&A, we delve into Chris's expertise, initiatives, and the driving force behind his strategic vision in the CRM landscape.
1. How would you sum up your expertise?
My expertise is in the CRM space, where I specialize in helping companies streamline their operational efforts to better align their marketing, sales, & customer service teams, and drive growth.
Having more of a technical sales background, I excel in understanding the unique needs & challenges of each business I work with, so that we can come up with a solution that helps them achieve their goals.
2. What type of work do you lead at Mole Street?
I work with prospective new clients to identify their goals and/or challenges around their Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, or Operational processes. From there, I help prescribe solutions for how our team can partner up with them to help them achieve their goals, or solve their challenges.
I am also focused on expanding some of our strategic partnerships with companies like HubSpot.
3. What types of clients do you support the most?
I primarily support mid market and enterprise businesses who have aggressive growth goals, but are limited by their tech stack. One of the most common challenges we run into, is that companies have piecemealed together a bunch of disparate marketing, sales, & customer service platforms, which creates disconnects/friction across their internal teams and hampers growth.
This is a challenge that touches pretty much every industry too. For example, I’ve worked with companies in financial services, manufacturing, tech, professional services, higher education, etc.
4. What is a current initiative you’re working on?
With the growth goals we have for 2024, I’ve been working with our leadership team to build out more documentation, playbooks, & reporting around our sales process.
5. What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love that I get to work with so many different types of companies. I’ve always been interested in understanding how different businesses operate, so getting the opportunity to dig into that and come up with creative solutions for how we can help those companies is something I really enjoy.
6. What is your superpower?
I would say it’s my strategic vision. I’ve always enjoyed taking a problem, and being able to think a few steps ahead in order to piece it together and come up with a solution for how to solve it.
7. What’s one Mole Street value that has special meaning to you? Why?
Curiosity, because it shows that you have a growth mindset, and that you’re always looking to learn and grow.
8. What’s inspiring you now?
What inspires me the most is being able to have a positive impact on others; whether that be in my personal or professional life.
9. What is one fun fact about you?
I went to Europe for the first time this year. My wife and I got married earlier this year, and we spent 18 days in Italy for our honeymoon.
10. Where can we catch more of your expertise?
On calls, LinkedIn & at some upcoming events in 2024!
